If you have never been to the Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts (my friends call it short: Cooking School), well you have to try it. The restaurant is located just at the entrance to Granville Island.
I went there recently and ordered the following:
Appetizer: Red Beet / Gravad Lox ($9)
Main Course: Lamb Saltimbocca ($19)
Wine:
Hester Creek Okanagan Valley, BC Glass ($8)
This meal was a culinary delight. Pricing is very reasonable in comparison to the big names here in town.

Atomic raised the party bar another notch for our 15th anniversary party. We hired Vancouver's own Five Alarm Funk.. and they delivered a 2 hour plus set that had everybody sweating buckets and crushing the dance floor.
