Great experience. The gentleman did a great job fixing a broken pipe in my basement wall, he was fast, didn't even cut a large hole in the drywall. I was pleasantly surprised with how small that hole was. He showed me exactly what he was doing, told me why it had to be done and was just super fast and effective. I am soo glad that I started buying my dog's food at Best Friends. My dog went through a lot of different foods from the vet and he stopped eating lots of them. He has a really sesitive digestive system and the staff at Best Friends were extremely helpful and very thoughtful when it came to my dog's needs.
They provided me with several samples of different foods and it turned out the California Naturals was the answer! I can pronounce every ingredient on the package and my dog is a happy camper.

I have been a Barrett Firewood customer for about 15 years. I was disappointed when they stopped providing 8' length and went to cut-and-split. Three years ago I accepted 6 cord of cut-and-split and found it measured a bit more than I usually got working seven cord at 8'. In a city with a disproportionate number of Thai restaurants, Baan Thai has always been my favourite. The old location was very cool, hidden in an alley, I had no clue what I was in for the first time I went. The move to Blower's made the place easier to find, and the food remained great.
Lunch specials from 11:30 to 3:000pm mean you can get a delicious filling meal for around $10. I am a fan of the green curry chicken made Thai spicy. The pad thai is also very good, and comes in a size that makes sure you won't leave hungry.
The previous reviews on this place are pretty polarizing, but I'm firmly standing my ground that this is a solid choice for thai food in downtown Halifax.
A few co-workers and I decided to check out Baan Thai for lunch, and although the place was very warm (it is summer after all), we were pleased to have ample cool water, great service, and a surprisingly awesome lunch served to us.
Service overall feels a bit formal and disjointed, but I'm going to chalk that up to cute cultural differences. As one example, we ordered an appetizer, it was brought, we ate it and then plates arrived for the appetizer. It didn't bother us because we didn't care about needing the plates in the first place, so onward we ate!

A fantastic company! Honestly, I cannot say enough about them. When I was having problems on the weekend and did not have any water in the middle of the winter, I gave Brewters a call. Within the hour they were at my house and did not leave until I had at least temporary solution. When the parts arrived a few days later, they were back and completed the work. Their were issues outside of their control, but made sure that when they left that they problem was fixed properly.
