Silent Voice is a not-for-profit charitable organization founded in 1975. We are the only organization in the GTA offering community and family-based support to Deaf children and adults in American Sign Language(ASL). We provide social-recreational programs in ASL for Deaf children and their hearing brothers and sisters and we teach hearing family members the language of ASL. Also, in partnership with other organizations, we offer special assistance and outreach services to disadvantaged Deaf adults living in the community.

The Fort Erie Multicultural Centre is a social profit charitable organization, governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, committed to carrying out its mission to assist newcomers arriving in Fort Erie to settle successfully into Canadian society.
Fort Erie has a strong and consistent history of welcoming and integrating newcomers, its earliest days connected to the abolishment of slavery in 1793 in Upper Canada (now Ontario) and the famous Underground Railroad. Situated at the busiest border crossing for refugees in Canada, Fort Erie is both a gateway community and a place newcomers like to call their new home.
As a community-based settlement agency, the Mennonite New Life Centre is a place of welcome, friendship and community, where newcomers and neighbours gather to support each other, learn from each other, and take action together for a more just and compassionate society. The Mennonite New Life Centre envisions a society in which all people from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds participate fully in all aspects of Canadian life.
Our friendly, all-female staff provides employment and settlement services, skills development, and language training, completely free of charge. There are also programs for children, including child care for kids between 19 months and 6 years of age.Our services are free, thanks to our funders and partners.
