Old Brewery Mission was in its origin a soup kitchen.programs and services have increased with the growing needs of the homeless population in Montreal. Several factors can lead to homelessness: poverty, insufficient income to pay rent, loss of income, a family crisis.

We have owned and operated the CAP House (transition home for people with mental health challenges) for over 2 decades and have overseen the operations of Logis PAL (6 social housing units) for 15 years. Furthermore, Project PAL owns and operates 4 supervised apartments. Thousands of people have benefited from Project PAL's initiatives and interventions in the area of housing.

Moisson Montréal plays a leadership role during the Ice Storm, offering humanitarian assistance to numerous municipalities. Some 300 tons of food are distributed daily-5 times the average for that period.
