Young’s Auto Body was founded in 1974 by “Merv” Young. In the early 1980’s, his son, Garnet Young took over management during a time when an evolutionary change was occurring across the nation. The North American unibody vehicle design was taking shape. Along with this massive national change came a demand for new repair equipment, training, and repair processes.
The automotive repair business was engrained in Garnet at such a young age that he developed a strong passion for collision repairs. His enjoyment of the ever-changing procedures and vehicle design is visible in his ability to provide repair services for a variety of vehicle models.

This was my second stay at the Bavarian Inn and the second trip where I've dined at the Inn's restaurant. This visit I stayed for two nights and ate downstairs both visits.
The new owners have added to their Indian menu (which I suggested they do the last time I visited a year ago), and they have even recently acquired a clay oven. The naan bread was just as good as many of the Indian restaurants I've been to in Toronto, very fresh and moist. I had the chicken biryani for dinner the first night. While it wasn't as spicy as I normally like, I figured this is because many of the clientele may not have had Indian food before and might not be used to spicy foods. The chicken was tender and the sauce was clearly homemade. I enquired with the owner when he came by the table and he mentioned that he would be happy to make any of the dishes spicier.
Indeed, the second night I stayed at the Inn I went to the restaurant again and ordered the chicken curry. Although the waitress wasn't sure what type of curry was, she summoned the owner over, who was able to explain that he could customize the dish for me. He added some garam masala to spice it up and I guarantee that the food here was just as good as many nice Indian restaurants in Toronto. The proprietor is clearly dedicated to ensuring that diners have a good experience if they are willing to branch out and try the Indian menu. To top it off, the restaurant also serves a fantastic brand of German beer on draught (Hacker-Pschorr).
All in all a great little restaurant, definitely worth stopping in on your travels along Highway 17. This restaurant would do well in the big city, but is an absolute gem to find in this corner of the culinary universe.Read more
