The Westview Co-op is a newly merged co-operative which is made up of the Eagle Hill and Olds Co-op. The Eagle Hill Co-op was established on April 25, 1933. The Olds Co-op was incorporated on April 29, 1960, and the Carstairs Food store was opened in 1977. As of February 1, 2010, the Co-operative became known as the WESTVIEW CO-OPERATIVE. These co-operatives have been serving these communities for many years and the Westview Co-op will carry on that tradition.

The Canmore Community Housing Corporation (CCHC) is an arms-length non-profit corporation of the Town of Canmore. Established in 2000, CCHC supports a more sustainable community by providing a range of housing that is appropriate and affordable for the community's needs.
