I visited this establishment with some potential clients the other day and was taken back by the service we had. I must say the food was great, but what sets this venue apart from others, is quality of customer service we were provided with. The Manager himself made his way to our table and ensured we were happy with our orders, which we were. My clients who were from the States were happy and we also got a deal done. Ennio's never fails to please! Last night we were in a bit of a rush as we had concert tickets. Explained to our waitress who speeded up the process by getting us our invoice very quickly. The experience at la Scala is quaint, quiet, and magical. The food is simply authentic Italian, done right,and has easily become one of my favorites in the area for a fancy dinner date :) I've been 5 times over the past year and have been blown away each time with their carefully curated locally sourced selections, and charming ambiance.
They have an intimate party room for larger functions and the service is impeccable. Extra bonus!! There is free parking in the back! Will definitely be back.

A hidden gem. No need to go to Toronto for the elegance and fine dining. Just terrific! The food presentation was great and the aromas and taste were "WOW"......very pleasing to the pallette. Food was amazing, had the blackened trout and it was delicious. The prices are reasonable and even more so considering the quality. Staff was very friendly. The atmosphere is suitable to be well dressed, however, we visited on return from a camping trip Tobermory and received not a single awkward look. Even better, the staff squeezed us in without a reservation and was very welcoming.

At last somewhere GOOD to eat in Brantford! From the outside Cliffy's doesn't look like much but I assure you it is well worth trying out. The food was great, the prices were sensible, and our waitress was wonderful.

Had a chicken marsala special which was very very flavorful, gf had a steak dinner, steak was "cooked to perfection"
I am looking forward to going back on a mon or tues for their pasta buffet.

I've never written a review (and we enjoy our dinners out at various restaurants), but this place really deserves one! My husband and I drive from Pickering to have dinner here and it's always worth the drive! The ambience, service and food are all amazing! My favourite dish is the Arctic Char - it's so good that even my husband ordered it once (he's not one to order fish for dinner). He's stated that the lamb is the best he's ever had. Franc and his staff at Posticino always make our dining experience a memorable one!

I work right near this place and go almost once a week for take-out. however if you eat IN it is quite a value - i bet you don't eat it all and take some home, and the price is fantastic. $10 lunch for a gyro dinner including greek salad and garlic bread.

One of the first italian pasta restaurants I've been to where I was actually impressed. The "Fusilli Jerry" was absolutely delectable...a definite favourite.
My rule for pasta is: if I can make better at home, it's not worth paying it elsewhere.
Lets just say I have not found another restaurant where I feel this rule does not apply.
