My wife and I used to love strolling the city and ending up at the Irish Heather for a pint (or three) and some fantastic authentic pub fare. This was in their original location. Then, we had a family and it took us a while to get back but we finally got back to check out their new digs and new menu. While the beer selection is still fantastic we were disappointed in the overall vibe. The food was still good but the value took a bit of a hit from their original location. While it was a great experience overall we still miss the original.

Going along Broadway I have noticed the restaurant many times and finally decided to drop in for brunch to give it a go. We sat outside, we didn't mind waiting for a table there. Service was fine and the food came fairly soon. I had an excellent smoked ham benedict which came with cubed fries and a very fresh salad.

Awesome home made noodles, won tons and spring rolls.
I just happened upon this spot which is a little out of the way but the food was amazing. I had to ask if it was all hand made and John came out of the kitchen to chat. He was really kind and looked cool in his whites and chefs hat.
He makes everything fresh on the premises.
Service was "ok" we were never asked fr drinks etc, the waitress seemed uninterested but that is OK as the food was great

Recently opened, this restaurant is closed on Sundays and does not take reservations. Modern decor serving up very good Korean food backed up by 20 years of cooking experience. Excellent service as they checked in on us several times even without having to push the call button. Three of us had the tofu in seafood broth-comforting, bibimbap with spicy chicken pieces, dumplings in beef bone soup-nice mild broth, short ribs-tender, seafood pancake-loaded with toppings, and of course many sides.

Service was wonderful. All the food was hot and our order, which was over $50.00, was perfect . Not 1 item missing including straws, napkins etc. The staff was fast and efficient as well as friendly. The restaurant was very clean also. I would most definitely recommend this A+W location to everyone who enjoys great food and awesome service. Just like the old days! Jennifer Bell attended Dubrulle Art Institute in Vancouver and graduated in 2006 with a strong interest in pastry.
