She has served on Central Vancouver Island in Nanaimo (Nanaimo Child Development Centre), Parksville/Qualicum (SD #69 Family Resource Association Early Intervention Team), Ladysmith (Nutsumaat Lelum) and Port Alberni (Outreach Therapy). Her further studies and OT volunteer work with children have taken her to Barbados, Haiti, Trinidad and Mexico. Her passion is to help make changes for children through parent education, treatment, team collaboration and consultation. She strives to keep up-to-date on the latest treatment techniques and holds certifications in Neurodevelopmental Treatment and SIPT (Sensory Integration and Praxis Tests). Suzanne is qualified in the use of several Listening Therapies and The Therapressure Protocol (Wilbarger). She has trained in the use of Sensory-Cognitive approaches to reading difficulties through LindamoodBell.
