Welcome to the Borden / Summerside KOA! The perfect place to settle in. Just a short drive from the Confederation Bridge and you are within a 45 minute drive to 9 of the 12 most visited sites in PEI. Whether you wish to see parts of Charlottetown, Cavendish, or Summerside, they are all just a short day trip away. And during the evening you can enjoy our pool, get caught up on laundry, participate in the scheduled activities, walk the Confederation Trail, or just relax in your RV or one of our cabins. Many of our sites are satellite friendly. Chelton Beach is just minutes away where you can enjoy the warmest water in PEI! This beach is ideal for swimming and perfect for younger children.Our Music Hall is up and running again. Depending on COVID restrictions, we will have local entertainment performing on Friday nights. Bring your own instruments and voices if you want to take part in open mic sessions or jam with fellow campers any day of the week. We have many who want to try their talents and for those who don't, it is fun and relaxing to watch and listen.

Beaucoup de changements et d'améliorations ont été effectuées au cours des saisons. Nous avons a cœur le bienetre et la sécurité de nos campeurs!Historique du campingAu début des années 70 la plage des sables était un lieu de baignade pour toute la famille. étant donné la grande popularité de ce grand lac artificiel, les gens ont commencé a apporter leurs tentes pour prolonger leurs journées a la plage. Voyant la popularité grandissante de la baignade et du camping, M. émilien Labrie et Thérese, sa conjointe, ont combiné les deux pour en faire officiellement un camping en 1967.La construction des premiers sites avec les services s'est fait graduellement au cours des années. Par la suite, son fils, M. Normand Labrie ainsi que sa conjointe Nicole ont fait l'acquisition du camping en 1984 et l'ont exploité pendant 23 ans. Durant ces années, plusieurs terrains ont été aménage's pour se rendre a un total de 225 emplacements.
Gulf Shore Camping Park provides family-oriented seaside camping in a beautiful natural environment overlooking the Northumberland Strait near Pugwash, Nova Scotia, and is accessible from the Confederation Bridge to Prince Edward Island.
