Several years later, in order to recognize her social and environmental achievements, Aveda awarded Elizabeth their One World Award for Humanitarian Activities . Elizabeth continued on with her Aveda fever and became one of four Canadians selected to Aveda's elite Purefessional program. Today, Elizabeth and her extraordinary team of Aveda trained stylists continue to encourage and remind us to base our purchasing decisions on a product's footprint, which is the journey it takes from the soil to the bottle, that the manufacturing process create positive social partnerships with communities who source the ingredients, and finally, that there can be a commitment to product research and development which grows above and beyond our environmental imagination.
