I went to this Salon about a month ago, expecting an "acceptable" to "good" haircut as this was my experience in the past. (I had another salon in mind for that day; they were busy, could not fit me in, and I wanted my hair cut that day!! Shirley gave me a "wow" cut, the best cut I had in years! Yapps is a classy, professional and a enjoyful Salon. Donna, Mavis and all staff have always treated me with kindness and a pleasant experience. Donna's skills are with no doubt professional with my Natural hair. I started going to Donna (on Ottawa St.) in the 90s. I went for a quick cut and brought my 22 month old son (who had never had a hair cut yet) The stylist a brunette maybe about 60 was so kind, and even gave Sammy a much-needed trim and didn't charge me for him at all. My haircut was great and Sammy's was adorable. She did it quickly and kept him engaged the whole time, which is a huge feat in itself!!! I will definitely be going back for myself, and my son.
