McCroy Masonry is a family owned and operated business, serving the Bow Valley and was established in 1982 by Skip McCroy. Skip ,originally from California, arrived in Banff, Alberta in the late 60’s, and quickly established himself as a strong and active tradesman within the community. From the 1970’s to 1982, Skip worked closely with many of the European stone masons, who brought their expertise in the trade of masonry from Germany, England and Italy. Skip became a journeyman stone mason in 1981, just before establishing McCroy Masonry. McCroy Masonry is now owned and operated by Skip’s eldest son, Heath McCroy also a Journeyman stone mason.
