My family has been involved with Phoenix Rising twice in last couple of months. The facility is clean and the staff professional. In both cases the Vet went beyond what I expected. Without her compassion and carmy daughters cat would most likely have passed away. The vet was not only there for my pets but also there for my families keeping us informed throughout the ordeal. A Weekend Shopper is provided to homes from Saltery Bay to Lund, including Texada Island. Within the city of Powell River, The Peak is delivered from house to house by carriers. Its carrier force, including youngsters and adults, numbers more than 100. All homes within the municipality receive the Shopper on Friday. Rural readers receive their Shoppers via conveniently located drop boxes, often next to Canada Post mail boxes. An area breakdown of delivery is provided each week and the numbers are audited by an independent organization.
