Blog Our approach to software development sets us apart from most other technology companies. We donâ€TMt just build isolated systems for individual issues. Instead, we take a look at every aspect of what our clients need, examining existing systems and learning as much as we can their current - and even future - problems. Then we build a solution that works seamlessly within its environment and provides a great user experience. We deliver world class solutions from a small city at the centre of North America - and we always want to do better work. We give our employees the resources they need to master their craft, and opportunities to really put that knowledge and experience to work. We want our employees to understand how their work fits into a larger picture - and these things together provide tremendous advantages to both our employees and our clients. We are an Aboriginal / Metis company, and that identity is important to us. Giving back to our community is important to us, and over the years weâ€TMve contributed to - and helped to build and grow - many programs and opportunities for Aboriginal youth in Manitoba who are interested in pursuing careers in IT
Seven countries in three daysBy Judianne JaymeWINNIPEG - Folklorama is the celebration of nations. It provides us the unique ability to travel within a two-week time frame, all in convenient venues within one great city! We can see beautiful costumes, learn some history, and sample favourites from that country. This year, I decided to take on a few pavilions for the first week of Folklorama. The second week is my turn to volunteer with the Pearl of the Orient Philippine Pavilion at 364 Dufferin Avenue.Nayong Pilipino PavilionI always think of how lucky we are, as a community, to be given two weeks to share our culture with Winnipeg! My highlight is definitely the hospitality of the volunteers. My family and I enjoyed the cultural dances from Kayumanggi Philippines Performing Arts.South SudanBeing a newly established country, this was my first time attending this pavilion. If I could summarize my experience in one word, it would be 'passion.' The emcee, in particular, was knowledgeable and proud of his country's history and the performances they were presenting.
The North End Community Renewal Corporation (NECRC) was founded in 1998 by a coalition of Winnipeg organizations who were concerned about some of the trends in the north end of Winnipeg and who were aware of the good results that community development corporations in other parts of North American were achieving in revitalizing inner city communities. It does this by improving the quality and accessibility of housing, creating jobs, upgrading commercial and industrial areas, implementing employment development programs, improving the overall image of the community, and reducing crime in the community. The corporation provides co-ordination activities and a strategic focus for many of the community improvement activities taking place in the north end.NECRC is committed to the social, economic and cultural renewal of the North End of Winnipeg.NECRC defines its development goals through annual consultations and ongoing networking with North End residents and businesses

Arcane Horizon Inc is a not for profit organization incorporated on July 19,1995 to support two men to live in their own home in the community. The agency was formed when the parents of these two men determined they could develop a more suitable support model for their sons. These parents with the assistance of Family Services, Association for Community Living and Prairie Places Inc. founded the agency. The agency is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors predominantly comprised of family members of individuals we support. The agency was founded on the Gentle Teaching Philosophy - this means that our first task is to build a bridge of companionship between those whom we serve and their support network. We build on our belief that all people have a deep longing to feel at home with others, and are called to come together in a spirit of companionship and community. This approach to care giving is based on a psychology of human interdependence that sees all change as mutual and as bringing or deepening feelings of companionship and community.
