On Sunday, September 7th Dismas of Vermont was one of three beneficiary organizations participating in the Vermonters for Vermonters fundraising concert, to help raise awareness of opiate and other addictions their impact in our communities, at the Vermont State Fair in Rutland. Other beneficiaries were Project Vision and the Vermont Recovery Network. The concert was organized by Vermont musician Joey Leone and a statewide committee. Governor Shumlin and many others addressed the concert attendees.
