Penticton residents now have an eco-friendly option when they want to take a cab.
Eco Taxi opened for business this week with a fleet of three bright green hybrid Toyota Prius vehicles.
Company owner Balraj Gill said he'll eventually have six vehicles, two being wheelchair accessible.
It has been his dream for several years to open up a taxi company with environmentally friendly vehicles in Penticton.
"Our focus is on our community, providing good, clean service," Gill said.
Eco Taxi operates 24 hours a day, and all vehicles are smoke-free.
