Our organization is comprised of 12 Directors elected for a two year term. The five person Executive Committee consists of the Chairperson of the Board, Past Chair, 1st Vice Chairperson, 2nd Vice Chairperson, and the Secretary Treasurer. The MTAM represents over 85% of the Registered Massage Therapists who practice in Manitoba. Each member is required to have completed a two year diploma for entry to practice; must be a graduate of a registered school of massage therapy and must commit to compulsory continuing education and is subject to an established professional ethics statement; plus the MTAM conducts complaints and discipline hearings as required to protect the public.
