I have been a practicing Artist in the community of Calgary, for the past 35 years. Over these years, I have had the opportunity to do set designs for public school productions, and private community theatre. My work has been displayed on periodical covers, and I have been commissioned to do posters, book covers and a CD cover. My personal work is colorful, and dramatic, with an International flavor. Studying at the University of Calgary, I completed a BFA with a major in Painting and a B. Ed with a major in Secondary Art.

Christine Klassen Gallery / CKG is a commercial gallery that represents a dynamic group of artists united by their craft-intensive approach to art making. We showcase a wide survey of contemporary art including: painting, drawing, photography and sculpture by emerging to established artists. Founded in 2007, CKG relocated to a 4600 sq. foot mid-century warehouse space in the Manchester Industrial area just off Macleod Trail in February 2014 to become one of Calgary’s largest commercial gallery spaces.
