Our Campground is clean and inviting, as we take pride in the landscaping and flowers. Our Restrooms are super clean . As you walk into the individual washroom the shower is clean ,same as the sink and toilet. We have a Laundomat on site for your washing needs as well. There are four washers with four commercial size natural gas Dryers. We have 15 and 30 Amp sites as well as Dry Camping. We have a huge Gazebo on our grassed area with a BBQ for all to use. We are located half way between Prince George and Terrace. So if you are traveling to Alaska or Prince Rupert our park is a great stop for the night. Our beautiful flowers to our individual bathrooms or our free Hi Speed WIFI, you will enjoy your stay with us. Welcome to Pilot Bay Resort on Kootenay Lake, in the southeast corner of British Columbia, Canada. Kootenay Lake is BC's third largest natural lake and was used as the main transportation link by early prospectors and settlers who laid the foundations for the first mines and towns in the Kootenay area. Pilot Bay was one of several such communities. The town vanished around 1902; today only scattered bricks, cellar foundations and two brick stacks remain. However, the scenic lake is still the chosen route for modern travelers. Walk-on and drive-on commuters cross the lake daily on the longest free ferry ride in North America. The East Shore terminal, at Kootenay Bay, is within walking distance of Pilot Bay Resort.
