Rosewood was intended to provide a safe haven for people in the community who were dealing with severe mental illness. In its first five weeks of operation, Rosewood was at full capacity and compiling a waiting list as the demand for Rosewoods services increased.During Rosewood's three years of operation we have garnered a great deal of support from the community and related agencies. Private and corporate donations helped us to make ends meet as we struggled to obtain long term assistance to continue our work.
