The Evangelical Mennonite Conference centres our faith, as does scripture, in Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord. We are indebted to the Protestant Reformation. We are a part of the Evangelical Fellowship of Canada, the Mennonite World Conference, Mennonite Central Committee, the Council of Anabaptist International Ministries, and the Canadian Council of Christian Charities. As Evangelical, scripture is our final authority in faith and practice; we believe in Christ's finished work on the cross; and live in discipleship based on Christ and scripture.

Resources & Links Crestview Fellowship was a church plant by the Kleefeld EMC church in the 1960's. It all began when the Kleefeld EMC began holding Sunday School classes & DVBS ministries in the St. Charles School close to Portage Ave. where the Perimeter Highway now stands. In 1967, the first building was completed between on Hamilton Ave and Belevista. The first official pastor of Crestview Fellowship was Melvin Koop who came with his fire and passion for evangelism. Many stories can be told of those first years of Crestview as it grew in the neighborhood. But one of Mel's favorites is the faith of the people to take on a missionary lady financially when the church itself was struggling to pay all the bills. What came out of that was that God supplied all the needs of Crestview Fellowship in those days.In the early 1980's an addition was put onto the church and the old sanctuary became a gymnasium and the new sanctuary and fellowship area (lower level) were welcomed with optimism as God was blessing the faithful once again.

We will be meeting in the Student Centre. To get there, go to the highschool laneway (the one that leads towards the dorms) when you get past the old building you will see a separate building on the left. That is the student centre. It is wheelchair accessible from the door closest to the college building. It has taken a while in coming but the Gospel Fellowship Church now has it's own website. Right now we are keeping things pretty simple. On the home page you are going to get special news and announcements as well as links to some of the other information on the site. You will also notice that we have a church calendar posted as well. Take a moment and browse around to see if this is some thing that you would like to participate in.
