The British Columbia Blind Sports and Recreation Association, BCBSRA, was organized in October 1975 in order to send BC athletes to the 1976 National Championships and Selection Trials for the Olympics for the Physically Disabled (now called the Paralympics) in Toronto. Last Door Recovery Society provides world renowned quality long-term residential in-patient Adolescent Addiction Treatment for youths 14 to 18 years of age and Adult Addiction Treatment for males 19 and over, providing alcohol rehab, substance abuse and drug treatment. The residential aspects of our Youth Addiction Treatment Program and Adult Addiction Treatment Program are gender specific to males while the Family Program and Transitional Living aspects are designed to facilitate both genders and all ages.
