Winchester District Memorial Hospital (WDMH) is a teaching hospital located approximately 45 minutes south of Ottawa. The new WDMH opened in 2009, building on more than 60 years of caring for local communities. This included the redevelopment of obstetrics, surgery, emergency and inpatient care, and state of the art technology including a CT scanner and digital mammography. The Cabinet Shop is a modern 2000 square foot custom facility for cabinets and countertops close to Ottawa.
Our highly efficient layout is designed with productivity, precision and versatility in mind.
We are equipped with all of the necessary machinery, as well as a complete countertop cutting station, to manufacture any cabinetry, counter tops or custom millwork.
Our self-contained spray booth, with state of the art finishing equipment, allows us to do custom staining, as well as ensure a quality finished product. We use water based, environmentally friendly finishing lacquers, and can use formaldehyde-free board products on request. We carry a varied line of wood, thermofoil and laminate doors from suppliers such as Richelieu, Premoule and Robert Bury, as well as from local suppliers—in both Traditional and Contemporary styles. We also supply laminate post-formed counter and bar tops from Premoule, and have access to granite, marble, solid surface, engineered stone, etc.
I have been a GM Specialist for 12+ years, but thoroughly enjoy servicing all makes and models. Over the years, I worked for several different companies, but always felt removed from the customer/mechanic relationship. I opened my own automotive repair shop, in order to make the process more personable, straightforward and simple for the customer. I, the mechanic, want to provide front line service, and be accountable. I want my clients to walk away knowing exactly what is wrong, or needs to be fixed, on their vehicle.
Given the automotive industry is ever changing, and continually presents more complexity as technology advances; I am thrilled to take on new challenges. I pride myself on my skills and knowledge, and am eager to undertake repairs on classic to late-model vehicles.
