I'm sorry to see that GCR Tires on Carling has closed. They were the best service station in Ottawa. I regret it took me years to find them & now they have closed. I wish the best to all the employees & thank them for doing a great job.

Location is always kept clean, and management is friendly. Laundry facility has a couple of machines that don't work properly, but most are fine. Good area right on the transitway, and all essentials are in walking distance.

This place was able to help me when no other mechanic was able to (6 different shops and 1 dealership). My issue was with locking lug nuts where the key was damaged. Every other mechanic told me that their bolt extractors wouldn't work on my rims because there wasn't enough space to latch onto the bolts. I took my Dobe to Sandy because she had a roach that was getting worse & trembling in her flanks when she sat that I thought might be related to a bad back. It turns out that she actually has a weak leg & her back was the symptom not the cause. After a few sessions she is standing straight, sitting without any problems & is trotting beautifully again. Highly recommend. She knows her anatomy & gets wonderful results.
