Romer’s was started in 2010 out of a passion for simple, great food, originally it was burgers. Fresh ingredients from people we know and trust. And yes, we do make our food from scratch, all the way down to the mayo. That’s the way chef Romer wants it and that’s the way we do it. Our burgers? Freshly ground daily and hand pressed by our chefs. No frozen slabs of machine pressed beef. Chef Romer demands we do it right. No short cuts. We believe in an honest drink. Craft beer that’s local all at a price that’s fair. We like sharing a great story and a good laugh goes a long way. We live and work in the neighbourhoods we serve, building and contributing to our communities. We are involved. We like to have fun, we love the place we live and when we aren’t making Vancouver’s best burger we like to enjoy being outside, taking advantage of everything our beautiful province has to offer. Since 2010, our concept has continued to evolve, but we’ve stayed true to our commitment to being simple, fresh, local, and a part of our neighborhoods. Our restaurants are focused on casual dining inspired by the West Coast lifestyle around us. We’re passionate about delivering you a quality experience with great service and unique food. Let Romer’s fuel your fun, whether that be hiking the local mountains, winning games with your soccer team, or spending time with friends on the patio.
An exciting new addition to Vancouver's ever-expanding restaurant roadmap, Boulevard Kitchen & Oyster Bar - located at the iconic Sutton Place Hotel adjacent to the bustling downtown Vancouver junction of Burrard and Robson Streets - provides a distinctive showcase for the celebrated culinary vision of Executive Chef Alex Chen and redefines the fine art of dining with subtle, unexpected and playful approaches to cuisine, service and style. With an innovative approach that blends a respect for the past with a celebration of the present, Chen's seafood-focused menu is grounded in classical technique and training, while artfully infusing casual West Coast flair and creative hints of his international influences. The new 290-seat restaurant will offer guests a variety of culinary experiences: from the stylish dining room, seated oyster bar and craft-cocktail and champagne bar to the vintage-style lounge.

One of the great top 5 Sushi places in Vancouver. The Sushi has excellent presentation, and it tastes great. Not your average sushi rolls, but the ingredients they use and the way they use them make for a great dining experience. Be prepared to wait and dine 10 inches away from the next table, it’s a tight squeeze, but worth it. Service could be more attentive. Read more

The Greek restaurant Stepho's, which is just down the street, is much more popular than Taki's, but in my opinion Taki's is far superior. I know Stepho's is really cheap and they give you a ton of food but Taki's is by no means expensive and the quality of the food is much better. Take my advice and avoid the long lines at Stepho's for a seat at Taki's. Read more
