The Avon Maitland Teachers' Local Is The Union Local In The Huron And Perth Area For The Elementary Teachers' Federation Of Ontario. The Avon Maitland Teachers' Local Represents All Of The 600 Full And Part Time Elementary Teachers Employed By The Avon Maitland District School Board.

The Elementary Teachers' Federation of Ontario (ETFO) is the professional and protective organization representing over 76,000 teachers, occasional teachers, and education professionals employed in the public elementary schools of Ontario. All public elementary teachers in Ontario are active members of ETFO provincially, and also a member of one of its 75 locals across the province. ETFO strives to develop programs and services that both protect and enhance the working lives of its members in these challenging times for education. It works continuously to provide an environment that celebrates the diversity of its members and the students in their care. In addition to its internal work in support of members, ETFO reaches out to the broader community to foster a climate of social justice in this province and beyond.

Founded by Chris and Kelly Collison in 2001, Partners Paint and Paper began with a small store located on the main street in the south end of Exeter. By 2006, having outgrown that location, the store was moved to it's present location at the intersection of highways 4 and 83. In 2005 an opportunity arose to expand to a second location in the town of Seaforth. In 2009, Partners was at it again, adding another 2 stores; one in historic St. Marys, and the other in Clinton, the Heart of Huron County. Our mix of quality products and innovative, personalized services has fueled our expansion and we remain focused on continued growth.
