COME SEE WHAT THE BUZZ IS ALL ABOUT! On July 11, 2012 Our Buzz Club received Government of Alberta accreditation. This identifies our Buzz Club as above standard and a superior before and after school care program. It is important for parents to recognize this accreditation when considering a before and after school program for their children. The Falconridge/Castleridge School Age Care Program is a non-profit organization set up by the community to accommodate the needs of families needing child care for their children attending the area schools. This program offers a variety of activities in a supervised environment that specializes in age-appropriate activities. The Falconridge/Castleridge Community Association provides a wonderful preschool program for 3 & 4 years old children that includes movement and dance, gym, stories and songs, creative arts, computer time,reading, safety programs as well as centers to entice the social, physical and creative appetites for all children. We also take field trips. We prepare children for entry into kindergarten by providing them with a balance between structured and creative expression. Snack Time The children need to bring a drink and nutritious snack each day. We encourage healthy eating habits and manners during this time, but it is mainly a social time for children.
