I am a licensed member of the Order of Psychologists and bring over 20 years of experience to my private Montreal practice. I work in an empathic, collaborative way to help you understand yourself better, to help you create more intimate relationships and greater self-acceptance. I work mainly with individuals (adolescents, adults and seniors) who have problems in the following areas:
Working as a counsellor and therapist since 1990, I bring years of experience working with a great variety of problems and situations affecting both individuals and couples. I have a background working with both shorter-term, solution-focused approaches and also advanced training in analytical approaches which deal with problems that are deeper-rooted, dating from long ago or recurring in repetitive and self-defeating patterns. I am also an accredited couple therapist, working for the most part with an emotionally-focussed approach (EFT) to help couples identify their negative patterns of interaction and help replace them with more positive ways of communicating and relating to each other.
Since my background blends clinical psychology with industrial/organization psychology, I am equipped to deal with issues that are either organizational, such as, role changes or territorial conflicts or personal including work habits, fitness or and organizational skills. In short, I help both you the person, as well as you, the executive or manager to develop the necessary skills and confidence to survive, and even thrive, in the workplace.
