Lordco Parts Ltd. was incorporated in August 1974 by its two founding members, Roy Lord and Ed Coates. A simple combination of their surnames gave the company its name, and they hired one employee to help them in their modest 900 square foot store in Maple Ridge, B.C.From the beginning, the two shareholders agreed that success would only come through a diligent, common sense approach to selling automotive parts. Knowledgeable salespeople selling quality merchandise, backed by a commitment to service wouldn't create instant success, but would give them a fighting chance to make it in the long run.The formula would prove to be the right one. As the business gathered momentum, plans for the first expansion were developed. In 1976, a large site was purchased in Maple Ridge, and new, larger facilities were built. Today, it still houses the Corporate Head Office and Fleet Maintenance complex. To support its commitment to service, Lordco also purchased a local machine shop in order to offer more complete automotive solutions to its customers.Next came expansion to Mission, B.C. and before the decade was over, Lordco had become a major supplier of automotive parts on the north side of the Fraser River. The plan remained to grow at a controlled rate, and the two owners continued to reinvest their profits in order to strengthen the company.

Implant Mechanix Inc was founded in 1995 to support my clinical dental practice which was deeply involved in the management of complex dental implant case. The company built surgical and prosthetic instruments to manage broken implant screws, obsolete implant systems where parts were unavailable, surgical misadventures where teeth could not be properly attached to the implants, innovative instruments to make dentistry easier. etc etc. Our focus is on design of new products and the machine shop is mainly there to support that function. We are a prototype and low volume production facility (a 1000 part order is a large volume for us) but we are most happy to provide jobbing machining services where our equipment is a good fit for our customers requirements. Our special areas of expertise are small, complex machined parts and the manufacture of plastic injection molds, both for prototyping and for production. The scope of the company expanded where I retired from clinical practice in 1998 and returned to moldmaking full time. I added CNC milling in that year, and progressively increased the range of capability by investing yearly in new equipment and software. The company is now very well positioned to participate in product development across many product categories...we have customers from such diverse field as telecommunications, military, fire safety, outdoor gear, and, of course, medicine and dentistry.

The club has a capacity for up to 150 patrons and offers a fully licensed bar. We have a delightfully intimate stage set up as well as sound and light system, DJ booth, giant screen and DVD projector. We are available for music industry showcases, CD release parties, fashion shows, screenings, film location rentals, product launches, private parties and any special event bookings.
