The environmentally friendly procedure has been adapted for hydrostatic testing on weld-neck, socket weld, and slip on flanges, welded unions, boiler and exchanger tubes, nozzles, valves, and Lokring fittings. The Dufort Isolation Plug is used as an additional safety precaution to ensure a safe working environment when hot work is being performed on a line that is not entirely free of gases.
