Keeping your new home in top shape is an easy task, as long as you follow a regular maintenance schedule. Here are a few tips to get you started: Always keep your gutters clean and free of debris. This will help to keep water from building up and eliminate water damage to your home. It will also keep your downspouts working properly, all the way down to your drainage. Check the caulking in your bathroom shower and tubs on a regular basis and replace if necessary. Caulking is there to protect the moisture from getting behind your tub, shower and tiles.
