We recently went on a trip to Africa and got a bunch of our supplies from MEC including mosquito nets, sleeping bags, quick dry and wicking clothes, hiking boots etc. There was a great girl working there that had just been to Africa and gave us a preview of what we could expect. Very cheap food with quite decent quality. great variety of foods too. Of course everything is vegan. Highly recommended especially if youre on a budget. The cornbread, pizzas and the cheesecake are my favorite.
