In business since 1971, Dutchmaster Nurseries services the landscape trade by growing, supplying, and shipping trees, shrubs and perennials, as well as a number of industry related hard goods. Plant material is shipped throughout Eastern Canada and the United States mostly using our own fleet of trucks as well as some outside carrying companies for further destinations. One of our mantras is to provide the best customer experience in the most efficient way possible. In accordance with the Municipal Elections Act 1996, as amended, the next Municipal Election will be held Monday, October 27, 2014.Under the Act, the City Clerk is responsible for conducting the elections in the City of Pickering for the offices of Mayor, Regional Councillors and City Councillors. Additionally, the City Clerk is responsible for certain aspects of the elections of members of school boards, as set out in the Education Act and associated regulations.

Internationally award winning cake designer Lisa Bugeja started Flour Confections in 2004 designing wedding & event cakes for the Toronto area. Five years later, Lisa envisioned a need for a specialty cake decorating supply source in the East end of the city. So in 2009; laying roots in Pickering, Ontario; Lisa's husband Scott Bradley joined Flour Confections Inc. and they opened its doors to the cake decorating community. Four years later, Flour Confections Inc. has grown to a new retail location, a new warehouse, a staff of 12, a global reach and nearly 2500 products (and growing!) while still maintaining its local roots and small business approach. Lisa continues to maintain an active role in the cake community and stays current in the industry, while developing many new products which are unique to Flour Confections Inc.
