Living my life without fear, I embraced my true power and potential when I created Roro’s Glass Art & Crystal Skulls in April 2015. My love of crystal skulls and my passion for designing stained glass pieces led me to build a beautiful studio in my home and release myself from my monotonous day job. Every day I enjoy the process and challenge of creating unique stained glass and jewellery pieces for others to love. I use only quality sterling silver, quartz crystals, Swarovski crystals and copper in my jewellery. Skulls are a large part of my life, as I feel they represent a way of living without fear - fears of judgment, fears of death, fears of failure. A skull is symbolic of the shell you walk around with, whether in life or in the afterlife. I have many crystal skulls in my home and my goal was to make these skulls affordable to everyone. Working with my suppliers, I ensure you get the best price on your skull and all items are cleared and recharged.

As company founder, I was introduced to the chainsaw and tree work in 1995 while I was employed as a summer student with the Ministry of Natural Resources. Shortly thereafter, I underwent the mandatory Ontario Government Training program to properly operate chainsaws, fell trees, and operate a skidder in a proficient and safe manner. Training continued under strict supervision of seasoned tree fallers in the Ministry of Natural Resources. At this point, people who knew me started to ask me to fell and prune their trees, as well as clear lots. Business spread through word of mouth, and Sugarbush Tree Service was established. From that point, I started out with my first “real chainsaw”- a Husqvarna 365 special – which I still have today, and use with our sixteen other various types of chainsaws. With every job thereafter, I continued to build and upgrade my equipment base, to ensure I had premium equipment available to do the best job possible for my customers.

Dreams really do come true says Morris Shelswell. 1946 marked the end of the second world war and Morris was one of the many young men that entered the business world. Raised on a family farm very near the East Oro location where the company still operates, young Morris took an early liking to tractors. His father had one of the first rubber tired tractors in the area and Morris who never had a love for horses certainly had a love for that new tractor. Morris began doing custom work for other farmers in the area and when he caught sight of a county of Simcoe dozer working on a nearby road he dreamt of owning a dozer himself. He headed to Toronto in search of dozer, but equipment was hard to come by and it took a few years for him to receive his 1946 6 ton.
