Peak of the Market has grown quality produce in Manitoba for 72 years and supplies over 120 different varieties of Manitoba grown vegetables. We are year round suppliers of various vegetables as Manitoba growers have one of the most technologically advanced storage programs anywhere in North America. Many vegetables can be stored for long periods in controlled environment storage facilities. In these storage facilities, the temperature, humidity and air movement are carefully monitored to ensure the vegetables are maintained in optimum condition to provide excellent quality and value to consumers. Winnipeg, 1992. Green Apple was born. Firstly named Red Apple after the discount store across the street from a local skate spot, Red Apple quickly transformed into Green Apple due to a rival skate gang under the same name. At the end of each summer in the early 90?s, local skateboarder Roan Barrion would make skateboard video's that would showcase Winnipeg's best skateboarders using the Green Apple name. It would later bloom into something more than local, thanks to the creative minds of Ryan McGuigan and Mike McDermott. The saga continues
