Every weekend we take the kids out for a meal at McDonald’s in Aylmer Ontario to give us a break from cooking. They are always very pleasant, friendly, and quick. We placed an order in the drive through and it turned out to be wrong. We went in to get what we were missing and the staff was amazing! They apologized, gave us our food and the manager gave us a full refund for the inconvenience. Now that is service!! Thank you!! Kathryn

I had to take my small dog here because another veterinary place was supposed to have fixed a painful nail in his back paw in October of last year. Dr. Russ operated and gave pain medication to take home. Also we found out that he had parasites and he was given medication for that. They were very busy but took the time to tend to him in a timely manner and I am supremely satisfied. The people on the desk were very helpful and courteous as well

In 1953 when the Campbell's and Richardson's were emerging as a curling dynasty in Canada and a lot of publicity was being generated, Aylmer caught the bug and in the spring of 1954 Jack Rice, Curly Giles, Syd Glover, Morris Kennedy, Stu McBrian, Harvey Balfour, Red Cassils & myself (& I think Bill Sapalec) met upstairs in the relatively new Aylmer & East Elgin Arena.
