Today Sean and Jenn McNeill are the Red Seal chef owners that strive to make Boondocks a fun and comfortable establishment for all that enter their doors. Boondocks is a family restaurant and children are always welcomed but in all honesty if you want a quiet family meal then Friday nights are not always the best bet as it can get fairly loud with an establishment full of locals unwinding after a long hard week in what can best be described as a authentic pub style restaurant. All of our staff do their best to greet everyone with a smile but in the off chance that they are busy at that moment please feel free to sit yourself down where ever you feel comfortable and enjoy the somewhat entertaining decor, somebody will be with you shortly. We also have a strong local following and as such we like to give back to the community. To that end we are a teaching kitchen where our Red Seal Chefs help our talented young apprentices further their skills.

The Roost Farm Centre is home to a unique bakery, garden Market and gift shop. The Roost is located on Highland House Farm, a 10 acre hobby farm located at the corner of McTavish and East Saanich Roads, in North Saanich BC. The bakery serves up farm fresh breakfast, hearty soups and sandwiches, salads, quiche, breads, pies and other sweet treats. We also serve thin crust pizza from our wood fired pizza oven! We are one of the only places in Canada that grows and mills our own wheat on site for use in our bread and baked goods. Our garden market features locally grown poultry, bison, duck, produce and locally made cheeses.

Running is great way to stay fit and healthy while experiencing the beauty of nature. Cowichan Valley Running is the first runner-oriented store in the region. We stock a number of products and accessories for both new and experienced runners throughout the Cowichan Valley community. Our staff is welcoming and knowledgeable, and will take the time to help you find everything you need.

Crossroads Grillhouse in Saanichton is serving up delicious fare for the whole family. Our menu features a wide range of great food for everyone including kidâ??s dishes, senior sized food and more inside or on our beautiful outdoor patio. We provide First Aid Instruction and Event Medical Services. As a Red Cross Training Partner we provide instruction of the following courses: CPR & AED, Emergency First Aid, Standard First Aid, Workplace Emergency First Aid (OFA Level 1), Babysitting and PeopleSavers. We hold our public courses at your local community centres and offer private courses to individuals or for businesses, camps, and groups on location. Our instructors have a vast amount of experience in the field. They love teaching and making first aid courses fun. The other service we provide is Event Medical Services. This can be for small events or very large. We have provided for concerts, festivals, sports, and much more. Our personnel are licensed EMA professionals and can do more than just band-aids and call 911 for you. We bring all the supplies, equipment, all you need at very good rates.
