Established since 1998 We are proud to be celebrating 19 years of dance education in the City of Vaughan and the recipients of Vaughan Today's Best Dance Academy and Best Business in Vaughan. We offer classes at Recreational and Competitive Levels. Dance classes are offered in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Acrobatics, Hip Hop and Musical Theatre. All students participate in our Year End Show held at the Living Arts Centre. We also offer Summer Camps, Intensives, P.A. Day Camps, March Break Camps, Birthday Parties and Private Lessons.

OUR MANDATE is to make dance available to all who wish to pursue it: this is the guiding principle which breathes through the school. Our programs are tailored to all ages and all levels: from the very young to the pre-professional and mature student. Our highly qualified staff nurtures and encourages creative development and self-discipline, empowering their students with strong dance technique, musicality and social awareness. They are encouraged to be intelligent and honest about their dance art.Dance as a performing art is recognized at the end of year: Let's Dance Festival in June is a week-long celebration of dance and the culmination of a year of learning. Any dancer who is committed and fulfills the requirements, can take advantage of extra performance opportunities by auditioning for our annual production of NUTCRACKER, performed in December.Our students learn that dance is a communication tool and this knowledge gives them a sense of excitement about dance as creative expression. Many of our students have pursued their education in dance and choreography at professional schools and universities. Some of them have become professional artists in their own right. All have acquired a true appreciation and love for dance.

We offer a range of dance programming recreationally and intensively through our CAS Performance Companies in Ballet (ABT), Contemporary, Hip Hop, Jazz, and Modern. Welcome to The Dance Zone! At The Dance Zone we are very confident in the programs and services that we offer. Should your child wish to not continue in their program for whatever reason, we will discontinue your child from the program, no questions asked. Parents pay fees on a monthly basis so you never pay for services not rendered.
