Wes and Elaine Froese took over the seed business in 1981 and Ian joined the operation in 2010. We are select seed growers who are innovators and early adopters of new varieties and technologies in the seed business. We specialize in spring and summer cereals, as well as oilseeds and pulses. In recent years we have also begun growing and selling soybean seed. We grow and sell most of the popular performing varieties of seed.

Books may be returned in the book drops at each library. Virden has an exterior metal book return box. McAuley has a return box in their entryway. Elkhorn has a return slot at the front of their building.Please do not return videos/ dvds in Virden's outside book box. They can be damaged by the cold, or by heavy books falling on them. The largest outdoor pool along Hwy 16 is located in this scenic park, which also has an interesting hiking trail, 38 serviced sites, modern concession and washrooms, horseshoe pits, mini golf and beach volleyball.Several of the community homes date back to the early 1900's with many modern ones intermixed.
