I was very impressed with the staff, as they take their time looking after your wants and needs. There was no rush to finish up and pay. For my husbands birthday, we each picked a fancy cupcake at Hey Cupcake. We tried Plain Jane, Ghostbuster, Cookies n' Cream, and Red Velvet. One of cupcakes was iced just when I got there. The icing has the ability to 'dry', so it has a very delicate crust and the inside is super moist.
The cupcake itself has a freshly baked crust. You can tell they have not been sitting in a container all day. Once you bite into the cake it is also super moist. For freshness we all rated our cupcakes a '10'.
I do not understand the other review of this bakery. It was a truly fresh and memorable cupcake. I would encourage everyone to try it as they are much fancier and tastier than grocery store quality.
I have also used them for a corporate event, again excellent product.
