Their dedication and cooperation provides a firm foundation for the many outstanding programs offered at the church,'' he continued, ''The vacation bible school this summer was a tremendous sucess and a new group has formed to coordinate the Food Depot. The church has adopted new watchwords for the coming year: 'Reaching forward to what lies ahead' (Phil 3:13). ''This has installed parishioners with a renewed engergy for our many outreach programs,'' stated Rev. Deacon Helen Hunter. ''The Food Depot for Winnipeg Harvest is just one of so many outreach programs. We also have a companion parish in Ugand,a support the efforts of the Primatés World Relief and Development Fund, and work in the area of social justice, amont other initiatives,'' continued Hunter.
