Our homes are built using only the very best pine, spruce, or cedar logs from the Bulkley Valley and Northwestern British Columbia.We have been meticulously handcrafting log homes in the Scandinavian tradition since 1978. My Father, Keith, trained under the auspices of the B. Allen Mackie School of Log House Building. Our family has grown up with the log construction being a part of our life; I have been cutting notches as soon as I was able to safely operate a chainsaw. My thirst for knowledge guided me through Forest Technology school, and University for a degree in Forest Management and wood science. However log building had been engrained in my soul and within a year of graduation, I was back in the log yard cutting notches, happy to have found my calling.
