Sushi Club is the best sushi restaurant I have ever been to. Their food is delicious and they have really good service. Even though I don't live in the neighbourhood, I go there because it is the best restaurant. The renovation they had this summer was very good. It affected the restaurant by a lot. It may be expensive, but it is worth it to go and eat in a restaurant like that.Read more

(Harlem on Queen)
After a weekend of dining at pretentious good-for-nothing restaurants (re: Spice Route) we decided to settle for Harlem, my bf's idea as the location of this place is easy to miss with so many other eateries surrounding it. We had the brunch/lunch menu.
The waitresses were very attentive. Served right away. Food was quite tasty, although the only negative part about it was that it came out a lukewarm. The catfish lafyette was delicious! Yam and yukon hash was good, but would've been better if served hot, as potatoes tend to get rubbery when it gets cold. The ribs were not bad either. There was a lot of food on the menu that I wanted to try today, so I'll definitely go back , maybe during dinner the next time.Read more
Sushi sky is the largest Japanese restaurant on Yonge St since 1999. In our restaurant we have take-out, delivery, catering and we also can carry a large party for 20 to 30 people. We are proud to have been serving fresh, delicious and inexpensive Japanese dishes, ranging from sushi and sashimi to teriyaki and tempura. As part of that, we have focused on serving our food in a health-conscious manner
This restaurant is all about great value. The lunch combos with the rolls, salad, soup and dumplings or spring rolls is a fantastic deal. The sushi is decent, but the cooked food is horrible. Never buy any of that. The staff are not polite, but they aren't rude either. I don't mind that, and they are fast. This is a good place for some cheap sushi.Read more

The food at this Financial District lunch spot stays pretty close to home, celebrating the bounty of southern Ontario with dishes like ricotta gnocchi with forest mushrooms, farmhouse pork sausage and the signature Hawthorne burger. Everyone raves about the French fries, and you do yourself no favours by passing up the flourless chocolate cake. Hawthorne is partnered with the Hospitality Workers Training Centre, meaning the staff here is happy and well supported from on high.
The recently renovated, three-level club includes a performance and dining area, wine bar, private event space and expansive rooftop patio. The open-concept design ensures guests on the second floor balcony have a perfect view of the stage, which features a magnificent Red Pop Steinway piano (the only one of its' kind in Canada). The warm and inviting space serves as an intimate setting for authentic, live jazz performances by some of the world's finest jazz musicians, and will focus on promoting Toronto's own Jazz artists. The space creates a comfortable atmosphere for quality modern bistro dining.
The Fran's tradition started over 70 years ago by Francis Deck. Francis was born in Buffalo, New York where his older brother Greg had started Deco Refreshments in 1918. Fran began openning out of town Deco locations. There were over 50 Deco locations in Buffalo alone. Fran and his wife Ellen Jane started Fran's in Toronto as a modest ten-stool diner at St.Clair and Yonge St in 1940, the couple's vision was one of serving unique high quality food throughout the whole day to their customers.
A great meal with great service, we'll definitely be back! Huge portions and a nostalgic atmosphere make for a memorable time. The sweet potatoe fries are a delicious "upgrade" from the regular fries.Read more
