The Good Planet Company was founded by Alain St.Onge and Ian Cromack, who, in 2001, decided to quit their jobs and put their reputations as Treehuggers, Granola Crunches and wide eyed optimists to good use by creating a values-led business, featuring an exciting range of earth-friendly, organic products. The company continues to evolve and innovate, moving in 2008 to a larger, brighter, main street location, ensuring that it's product lines are continually refreshed and improved. With seven people now on staff, the entire Good Planet team invites you to drop by the store in beautiful downtown Victoria for a warm welcome, a cup of tea and a browse!

Almost thirty years ago the Mustard Seed Street Church began from a prayer closet in a store on Government Street in Victoria. The need of the under-privileged was so great that the ministry expanded to a building on Pandora Avenue. It began its outreach to the community as a church which soon grew to include a food bank, clothing bank, counseling and advocacy service, prison visitation and street ministry. Since 1995, the new facilities on Queens Avenue have brought an enlarged dimension to the existing ministries. It is our hope to incorporate other services to continue to address our mandate of meeting the needs of the impoverished.
