Louis Payeur, the founder of Motrec, built the first vehicle in his garage. That was in 1988. This robust carrier was delivered to a heavy equipment manufacturer where it performed so well that word got around. It didn't stop there. Requests for new vehicles that could perform a growing variety of tasks continued to foster the innovation and capabilities of our company.
