Started in the Phoenixville area, McGee Electric put their first 'truck' on the road, an old VW Beetle with the backseat removed, in 1976 by Joseph L. McGee II. Over the years, Joe McGee's business grew, as did his family. Needing more space for both brought them to the Pottstown area. The next 20 plus years in the Pottstown area brought an expansion of not only the family - four sons but the business as well.

Young Folk at the Hall– StephenvilleFergus O'Byrne will be organizing and producing a Young Folk at the Hall project under the auspices of the Bay St. George's Folk Arts Council on October 3, 4 & 5, 2014. Support for this initiative is being provided by The Newfoundland and Labrador Arts Council and the NL Folk Arts Society.Based on similar, earlier projects, Young Folk at the Hall is a weekend of workshops and a concert with the aim of allowing young folk enthusiasts share their talents with other like-minded musicians.The final concert will be at the Stephenville Arts and Culture Centre Second Stage on the afternoon of Sunday, October 5th, featuring young musicians ages 7 - 18.
