First the service, our server Nikisha was absolutely top notch and if I might add hilarious. She kept us well entertained and made excellent suggestions. My wife loved this drink she suggested called the white freezie and will return just for that, I was more partial to the steak I had with a garlic cheese crusting along the top it was delicious, cooked perfectly and just the right size along with yam fries and a soup (french onion). The food was hot and came quickly. We really like the suggested flatbread appetizer. The best was this coffee with a chocolate glass and bailey's alongside a delicious warm funnel cake, we will be returning to this restaurant and we will be requesting that server as well.

The burgers at BBJ are delicious.
Made with fresh, local ingredients, cooked to order.
You can upgrade to premium toppings like goat cheese and portobello mushrooms, melts in your mouth.
The portions are huge definitely a man sized burger. Fries and onion rings too.
I have never seen such huge onion rings before. Beer battered and fantastic.
Price, very reasonable for the sizes you get. I think it was $4.50 a burger to make it a combo it was $6.50.
You pay more at the other “big chain” burger places in town and still feel hungry afterwards.

Sunset grill had good food, they were also very clean and also had good service. There was lots food and a variety of choices for what to order. Staff was kind and caring. The price for the food was fair, considering how much they served. There isn’t anything that I wouldn’t like.

The Franklin House was built in 1855 by William Graydon and Peter Douglas. It was originally built as the private residence of Peter Douglas, who in 1859 went on to sell it to Bennet Franklin, a partner in Barber Brother's Toronto Woollen Mills. Following Franklin's death the building remained named 'Franklin House'. In 1877 the building was converted to a Hotel and Public House which eventually in 1910 under new ownership was renamed 'Queen's Hotel'. In 1927 it ceased to operate as a hotel with the enforcement of the Canada Temperance Act, but has continued to be used for commercial purposes. The building is said to have narrowly escaped demolition in 1979, and today The Franklin House is designated and protected under the terms of the Ontario Heritage Act. In 2008 The Franklin House opened it's doors, carrying on the tradition and paying tribute to the original building and it's history.
