Our School DivisionHave an enjoyable summer!The Lord Selkirk School Division will begin summer hours on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 and continue until Friday, August 29, 2014. The summer hours are as follows: Board Office 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Transportation Dept. 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Maintenance Dept. 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.We wish all students, parents, guardians and staff have a safe and restful summer vacation. The first Board Meeting of the new school year will be on Tuesday, September 2, 2014.Who We AreThe Lord Selkirk School Division serves students in communities spread over an area of 1760 square kilometres. To provide support service to those in recovery and to extend services to families, friends and co-workers To provide psychosocial rehabilitation services, in a safe environment that provides opportunity for social interaction and group participation. To offer daily lunch and special meals on festive and commonly celebrated occasions. To enhance social daily living skills and encourage participation in cooking and meal preparation, cleaning and general maintenance. To act as a liaison between members and the community in the promotion of mental health. To provide referral services to appropriate mental health organizations and community services within the area.
