Langara College, located in Vancouver, B.C., offers a variety of University Studies, Career Studies, and Continuing Studies programs to over 19,000 students annually as an independent public college established in 1994.
A classroom teacher for 15 years, the owner Glenda Stewart-Smith, has taught a wide range of grades and subjects. She received a MET degree (Masters in Educational Technology) from UBC in 2005 and was named an Apple Distinguished Educator for Canada (ADE) in 2008. Outside the Box Learning Commons is located in the Richmond London Landing area. Our maker-space combines resources and experiences to allow students innovative learning opportunities that develop academic skills through exploration and creation.
